The place was more like a junk yard than a park. The ownwer/manager had zero personal skills other than when we were handing him money. We were having mechanical issues with our rig, and the owner kept telling us that a buddy of his could help us fix the problem, that he talked to him, and he would be there that day. This went on for 3 days, with no buddy, only the same story. Of course, he was more than happy to extend our stay. We asked for his buddy's last name and number, but the owner/manager said he couldn't/wouldn't. Nothing about this seemed legit, so we pulled out and limped 40km to osoyoos and into a very nice camp site on a lake. We called a local mobile mechanic who came the next day and within two hours fixed the problem at half the price the eagle rv owner quoted us. My opinion, unless you are desperate for a one night layover, avoid this camp.
This is a great stop over campsite which is spacious, clean and fully serviced but .... why they think it's a good idea to charge $1 for 5mins in the shower I really don't know when it's one of the more expensive sites. You'll either love or hate the owner as he is straight talking and certainly hasn't been on any customer relationship training!
Was an okay place to stay. Took my reservations and then lost it but still found a place for us. Bathroom and shower were clean. Have to give a deposit for the gate key to leave early which is okay but wouldn’t answer the door when I went to return it. So I put it through the mail slot. And messaged them to get them to send me the money. Still no response almost a week. Poor business practices I feel. Would still like my 25 back.
Nice clean park. The only negative thing I'll say is the showers cost a loony for 5 minutes. I was very dissapointed with this. I had just done a cross Canada trip and stayed in many campgrounds in every province. No other campground I stayed in charged for showers. The price I paid every where else included showers ( and quite a few places were cheaper than this site)
Gayle was absolutely wonderful! Kind and very welcoming! Everything was super clean, showers, sites and the laundry facilities were fast and efficient! It was such a nice respite from traveling and staying in lesser parks where they nickel and dime you! 10/10 recommend!! Thanks for everything Gayle! ~ KaiNani Crew
