The Similkameen Country Development Association (SCDA) is a non-profit Society in British Columbia’s stunning Similkameen Valley, run by an enthusiastic volunteer board of directors and a small, dedicated staff.
In partnership with local, regional and provincial partners, our goal is to foster and celebrate the vitality of the Similkameen region. We do this by raising awareness of our unique landscape, showcasing tourism assets, highlighting business opportunities and offering comprehensive tourism and information services to both residents and visitors of the Lower Similkameen. Driven by our commitment to sustainable economic development, we continue to support our local businesses. We are inspired by the rugged beauty of our surroundings and the resilience of our community, and we strive to uplift the stories of our vibrant agricultural sector. We are dedicated to learning from and respecting the history of the Indigenous peoples on whose traditional lands we live, work and play, as we move forward with our new strategic plan.
